Why seek His presence?

In the presence of God there is:

Joy

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalms 16:11

Surely you have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence.
Psalm 21:6

Peace

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Rest

And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:14

 

Couldn’t we all use a little bit of joy, peace and rest in our lives? 🙂

Seek God’s presence today.  Separate time for Him. Read the Word, talk to Him, worship Him. Be receptive to listen and be prepared to be filled!
