We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to support benefits administration for a Financial Services organization in Cranbury, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage employee benefit programs with accuracy, provide responsive support, and help maintain a positive employee experience. The role focuses on benefits coordination, leave administration, and analysis of compensation and benefits data while working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers.

Responsibilities:
• Administer day-to-day benefit programs, ensuring enrollments, updates, and terminations are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate employee benefits activities by serving as a point of contact for questions related to health, retirement, and other company-sponsored plans.
• Manage FMLA and other leave-related processes, including documentation tracking, communication, and compliance support.
• Oversee 401(k) plan administration, including employee transactions, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.
• Analyze benefits and compensation information to identify trends, reconcile discrepancies, and support informed decision-making.
• Build productive relationships with benefit carriers, third-party administrators, and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintain benefit records and account details while supporting audits, reporting needs, and ongoing program accuracy.
• Assist with benefits-related process improvements and operational updates as needed within the broader HR function.• Experience supporting employee benefits administration in a corporate or business services environment.
• Working knowledge of benefits coordination, compensation and benefits practices, and related administrative processes.
• Hands-on experience managing FMLA or other leave programs with strong attention to compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with 401(k) or similar retirement plan administration and vendor interaction.
• Ability to review benefits data, conduct analysis, and resolve discrepancies with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong account management and relationship-building skills when working with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain benefits information in a clear and approachable manner.
