Position: ​​On-Call Driver

Assigned to:​​Empire Standard (NY)

Location: ​​Field-Based / Various Delivery Routes (NY)

Work Schedule:​Primarily Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays; scheduled on a day-to-day, on-call basis, generally with notice provided the prior day.

Compensation:​$22.00-$25.00 per hour; anticipated starting rate of $23.00 per hour

Position Summary: The On-Call Driver is responsible for safely and professionally transporting Empire Standard products to licensed dispensaries. The position handles delivery documentation, customer payments, returns, and customer service while ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, securely, and on time.

General Duties:

• Safely transport products to licensed dispensaries along assigned delivery routes.

• Load, secure, handle, and unload products carefully to prevent loss or damage during transport.

• Verify orders and delivery information before departure and upon arrival at each customer location.

• Complete and maintain accurate delivery paperwork, manifests, receipts, signatures, and other required records.

• Collect and safeguard customer payments in accordance with Company procedures and promptly submit all funds and supporting documentation.

• Receive, document, and return authorized product returns in accordance with Company procedures.

• Provide courteous, professional customer service while delivering products and communicate customer questions or concerns to the appropriate team members.

• Communicate promptly with management regarding delays, route changes, vehicle concerns, delivery discrepancies, or other issues affecting scheduled deliveries.

• Follow all traffic laws, safety requirements, security procedures, applicable cannabis regulations, and Company policies at all times.

Job Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and responsibly.

• Ability to work an on-call, day-to-day schedule, primarily Monday-Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.

• Ability to work and drive in varying weather and climate conditions.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling paperwork, payments, and returns.

• Ability to independently lift and carry up to 60 pounds and provide professional customer service.
